Getting ready for family time Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for all the friends we’ve made over the years. We hope we can return part of the blessings you’ve brought us
Don’t forget to share all the things for which you are thankful today, including that PTL is open for your family gatherings today and Friday Y’all have a great Thanksgiving!
As someone who hires a lot of folks in recovery, this made me LOL
You will never be more satisfied than when you really pay attention and make an effort to become the person God is trying to lead you to be
Some folks came from across the country to say hello (I’d tell you more, but they are from a secret group, so I’d have to kill you all if I did)
People say I should post more food porn Doesn’t do much for me, but whatever floats your boat, I guess
Please do me a favor and pray for our head cashier Penny’s granddaughter Kaitlyn in TX. She has the flu and was admitted into the pediatric ICU this evening with a very high fever
Please pray for all the coming victims of the hurricane and its fallout Please keep us in there as well. We've flooded once this year and once last. Not sure I can take another one
In case you’re curious, Atlanta Eats does not pick the best places to eat, they are an advertising vehicle that charges the restaurants they feature to appear You’re not watching a DDD type show, you’re watching an infomercial

Dropped my baby Frances off at her dorm room this morning. First time ever I’ll be without a blood relative working regularly (Hannah will be back some) Y’all forgive me if I’m a little mopey for a while
Just because this is AWESOME!!!
So sad to see my friends at The Tiki Cafe close up shop. It was the best Hawaiian BBQ in GA and I’m gonna have to figure out how to make Spam Musubi now Folks, the harsh reality is that you have to support your local businesses if you want to have them as an option. I’m not one to go on tears against franchises, but the reality is that multi-location chain with bland, middle of the road eats and massive advertising budgets will always have an advantage over every mom and pop shop in existence. Those bad stretches that put small dents in a chain can choke out your favorite local joint When was the last time at a chain that you had the cashier hug your neck and tell you that she loved you, or the owner come by and tell your kids terrible dad jokes? And when was the last time you went to a chain and came away thinking “that was the best XXXX I’ve ever had”? Rant over...for now

We opened yesterday in a limited capacity and it just wasn’t us at our best. We’ve decided to take today to complete the remediation and reset and open for business as usual on Wednesday. I hate that we will miss so many of our regular Sunday customers today See y’all next week
Unfortunately, we had water intrusion last night and will have to spend today and probably at least tomorrow to abate it and assess and address any damage So sorry for the inconvenience
We are looking for full and part time help at every position. High school and college students are welcome, but you must be available for at least two 4 hour shifts per week Anybody want to join Penny up front making people feel at home?

Max came by to survey his inheritance this afternoon. Sorry we couldn't make it in time for lunch
One day about 5 months ago, Bernie just couldn't get up and was diagnosed as quadriplegic due to spinal issues. His owner said she had money, but not many friends as loyal and authorized weekly physical therapy with no promise that it would work. She brought him in every week and promised him a good plate of BBQ if he ever walked again Way to go Bernie!
One of our best customers whistling a tune to PTL's greatness :)
